El Gobierno del Japón ofrece becas de postgrado, pregrado, técnica y ocupacional a los estudiantes y egresados universitarios. Las becas son integrales pues cubren los costos de pasajes, estadía, estudios, etc por el tiempo que el becario permanece como tal en el Japón. La beca de postgrado es de investigación y permite realizar estudios de maestría y doctorado.
